We had a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out. Maria helped in every way she could from booking tours to lending us a beach towel and parasol. She even got up to provide breakfast at 5.45am as we were leaving on a tour at 6.05am. The normal breakfast started at 7am
The room was beautiful and the bed extremely comfortable.
The hotel has a gorgeous garden, perfect for relaxing in.

We enjoyed the staff friendliness and hospitality. It was a great experience, local breakfast alternatives, clean room, central location. We would enjoy visiting again! Highly recommended

Hidden gem, where you're not a guest, you're family! From the outside, it’s unassuming, but step inside, and you’re greeted by a magical, rustic charm – think cozy wooden accents and tasteful decor that feels like a warm hug. The hotel is spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully laid out, making every corner inviting.
The location is perfect: a 10-minute stroll to the downtown core and 20 minutes to the beach, ideal for exploring. The bed and pillows? Pure bliss – we slept like royalty. The breakfast, handmade by the host Maria Angelica, was a highlight, with fresh, custom dishes served at our preferred time. But Maria Angelica herself stole the show. Her warmth, patience, and kindness made us feel like family, not guests, from check-in to checkout. This is the only place I’ll stay in La Serena, and I’m already excited for my next visit!

This hotel is just beautiful. Maria is an amazing and caring host in her fourth generation Chilean home. It’s beautiful. Tasteful rooms and and a lovely rustic homely feel to it. Would highly recommend.
