We fully paid our booking through Agoda, however, when we checked in, we were surprised that we need to pay additional tax. My husband argued, showing that we already paid the tax so the staff said she will inform her boss about it. Upon pur check out, they insisted on us to pay for the tax again. My husband showed the booking confirmation indicating the price and the tax we paid, so we didn't pay any additional amount.
The place is very strategic because it is at the center of La Serena. The pool is ok, safe for children, not that deep but while we enjoyed the pool, my husband, our baby and myself had some skin itching, as if an insect bit us in the water. The dome is ok but too hot on summer because of it's thick concrete and there was no A/C. They offered additional electric fan though on top of the ceiling fan that's already in the room but it was still so hot.
Overall, our experience was not that bad.
