Talbot and Bons Boutique Bed & Breakfast

This property is an old and historic home with 12 rooms. Room are well appointed, clean, and spacious. The pool is nice and there is a lounging area. Staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is very good. If you ask for specific foods they will source them for you. We asked for kiwi, avocado and pastizzi and they were available next day. Extra towels are available if you ask. Very close to the airport. There is no elevator. You’ll need to climb stairs to get to the second or third floor rooms. Remember this is a refurbished old home. Lighting on the rooms are a bit dim and there isn’t an outlet in the washrooms (code) but other than those two annoyances we lived it here and will come back.

Perfect boutique hotel with lots of character and charm. The breakfast buffet was abundant and included a juicer!

We stayed here one night as it is very close to the Malta Airport and we had an early flight. We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a property. We were greeted by a lovely host and when our room was not quite ready, she offered us a drink. Our bags were taken up to our room which was well appointed and very clean. There is a small plunge pool on the property which was lovely for cooling off and lounge chairs which I took advantage of to read. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful! We could not stay for breakfast, which was included, but the host had prepared a breakfast to-go which was much appreciated.

This place is off the charts for the coolest place to stay. Convenient to both the airport and the main sights of Valletta. We only wished we could have stayed longer. The property is unique and just kept surprising us the more we explored. Outdoor pool and deck were inviting and they even had all kinds of sunscreen for use by guests In room coffee was awesome especially since we had a 7:30am flight to catch. Will definitely stay here next time we ever come to Malta - but next time will be for a longer stay
