    Arenal Backpackers Resort was quiet, clean and visually lovely. The breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced as was the bar at night.

    Cons: - Cylinder rooms must have had poor ventilation, mine had mildew which hurt my lungs sleeping there overnight. - There were tiny ants all over the floor (only place to store baggage.) - Hostel did refund my stay, which I am appreciative of. - Maybe it was just me, but I couldn’t find the light switch on the showers in the “glamping” area. - Make sure you bring shower shoes because the walk to the showers is over brick and grass.
