    The room was too small with stained carpet. No soap. Bedsheets were not changed. The fire alarm went off almost throughout Thursday night.I couldn't sleep a wink. Apart from the location... It's horrible. The room was not cleaned the next day. I came back and met the bed unmade and the room the way I left it. The key to the room didn't work also. I will not recommend the hotel at all.

    Wonderful friendly staff, rooms are very clean and so is the bathroom. Great value for money. Hotel needs a lick of paint but that's it :) - Definitely stay again!

    I am not given to writing negative reviews ,as they are often irrelevant & petty. However, this hotel needs to be called out, to allow an informed decision if you are considering booking. Firstly, I have no idea where the pictures are from but they do not bear the slightest resemblance to reality- Specific photos for my room created an expectation of comfort with an excellent level of facilities- What I ended up, with was something smaller than a double wardrobe with a kitchen chair on an unusable top with the TV & kettle taking up 90 % of available space. The TV is positioned in such a way that viewing is only possible from a kitchen style chair with either the bathroom door open, or adjacent to the entrance door. (needs to be on the wall). Room was incredibly stuffy (even at 20 deg outside), with no cooling whatsoever (fan or air conditioner)-Not sure the heater worked either- but no need for that- even on a cool night. I had specifically requested a quiet room- only to find a large group of 20 somethings , travelling together were allocated all the surrounding rooms- Naturally, as soon as they booked in- slamming doors, screaming, banging, shouting and so on-Hotel response- Saturday- put up with it. Naturally, by the early hours & fuelled by whatever it is the young smoke, drink or inject, it was absolute pandemonium. WiFi in guest rooms is in name only- Even at 3am, the WiFi signal (critical for me)-was stronger from the next door hotel & connection with supposedly 2 different options was absolutely impossible. Hotel is poorly maintained & dirty & even things like the very few power points ( I found 3 ) in common areas , probably will not work. Dirt & debris is obvious in the common downstairs areas Don't be fooled by the photos, the representations, (strong WiFi??) or even the facade (attractive) . Accommodation standards in this city are problematic at best but I would only ever consider this if every other hotel was full.
