    The location of this property is the best. It’s tugged away in the jungle and it’s not easy to reach. You need to have a 4x4 and should be a skilled driver to reach their door step. But worry not they provide pickup service so you don’t have to do any off road. The food is lip smacking and the peace in this place make you reach inside and find yourself. The staff is amazing and will make everything possible in their control to make you comfortable. I love this place and have already been there twice. Would recommend this to anyone looking for Himalayan views and peace.

    We visited the property and stayed there for 3 nights. Had a wonderful time, great staff and wonderful location. Enjoyed the jungle trails and good food.

    The location was good - atop a hill in the sanctuary, so nice view, trees etc but quite a nightmare to get there esp if you’re driving yourself! We reached at night, and no one from TOL was answering the phones or available in any manner to guide us to the hotel. Had it not been for the ranger, we wouldn’t have made it. Even so, did not feel welcomed, unfortunately, barring one member of the staff who made our stay bearable, it was quite a sad stay, given what we expected having seen pictures online! Electricity is solar powered since no supply in the middle of a sanctuary - something I found impressive. The con was hot water ran out by 11AM, so they should’ve had a larger capacity given it’s a hotel, but okay, fair, not a big deal. Cleanliness was an issue for us. Having said all of this, it’s a cute property and a lovely sanctuary to walk around, but what soured our experience was the attitude of the staff, truly.
