    It was very good and pleasant time staying at Centara Grand Resort. We enjoyed BBQ and Thai dinners at restaurants, pool and slides by it and cliff jump by the lazy river.

    It’s very old Property lobby is not air conditioned and rooms are far away buggy facility is der but u have to wait 20 Minutes minimum over priced

    We are a family of four with two teenagers, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The three-night stay felt far too short because the property offers so much to explore and experience. Our absolute favourite was the lazy river and the water slides—it was great fun for both the kids and the adults. Even when we weren’t exploring the resort, simply sitting on the balcony and taking in the breathtaking sea views, or relaxing at the beachfront Coast Café, was an experience not to be missed. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return for a longer stay next time!

    We recently stayed at Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket and booked five Ocean View rooms for our family, including two children and elderly parents. Upon arrival at around 9:30 AM after a long six-hour flight, we were exhausted and hoping for some flexibility regarding check-in. We fully understood that the official check-in time was 4:00 PM and did not expect immediate access to our rooms. However, after requesting an earlier check-in, we were informed that rooms would be ready by 2:00 PM. At 2:00 PM, only three of our five rooms were provided, while we were told that the remaining two rooms would not be available until 4:00 PM. This was extremely frustrating, especially considering that we were traveling as a large family with children and elderly parents. For a resort marketed as a five-star property, the lack of effort to accommodate guests in such circumstances was disappointing. After speaking with management and expressing our concerns, the hotel eventually provided the remaining two rooms. The positive aspect was that the last two rooms offered excellent ocean views. However, despite booking Ocean View rooms for all five reservations, the first three rooms were located on lower floors where the ocean view was largely obstructed by trees, making the view far less impressive than expected. As for the resort itself, it has some strong points. The beachfront location is beautiful, the pools and facilities are enjoyable for families, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. However, in my opinion, the property does not fully meet five-star standards. The rooms are noticeably outdated and in need of renovation. Service throughout the stay was inconsistent, and the food quality was average rather than exceptional. Additionally, during our stay, we witnessed another guest at reception complaining about finding a rat inside their room, which was quite concerning. Overall, Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket offers a good family-friendly resort experience with a great beachfront location, but the outdated rooms, inconsistent service, average food quality, and disappointing arrival experience prevent me from considering it a true five-star resort. With some renovations and improvements in guest service, it could be a much stronger property.
