    There was a mix up of information. We had a sumo show at 3 pm so we went around 10:30 am to see if there was a early check in available. They told us 1,000 yen for the early check in but we decided to come back at 1:45pm and they wanted to charge us 2,000 yen. Didnt understand that at all. It was a bit of a back and forth, the front desk was giving a bit of attitude but explained that they charge per hour of early check-in which again made no sense since in the morning we were offered to check in for 1,000 yen. We ended up leaving our bags and checking in after our Sumo show. As a person who has worked in the industry, I would’ve just given it 1,000 yen. Its not about the money more so the feeling of “oh I’m a liar” left on the customer. PS I was with my partner and he witnessed everything. Great location, one of the subway entrances is right by it. The rooms are small and thats normal in Japan but the bathroom threw me off because it is like a step below the room so I stubbed my toe like 4 times
