I did not like that the reception staff from the evening to the next morning did not speak a single word of English. Made it very hard to communicate and order a very early taxi pick up. Although I had aldready booked this with the English speaking guy upon arrival. The morning guy was clueless.

I loved my stay at Casa Pizarro! The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. The breakfast was spectacular --- the location (roof top terrace), the food (different offerings each day, rich tropical fruit buffet), and the service (Estelle, you were awesome!). Location is great --- not right in the middle of all the buzz but yet just 5 minutes from the main square. The pool is fantastic for relaxing after a long walk around town. One of my best stays ever!

Staff members were great, super friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful with a balcony to the pool, nice cold AC when you needed, the pool was nice kept clean, breakfast was great every day with some fruit and even dessert, the hotel is well located with a safe place to park your car a few blocks away and a few food options right next to the hotel, overall great place to stay to experience Cartagena for a few days.

All staff members from the front desk to the room attendants to the breakfast staff were outstanding! Very polite and always with a big smile! While the rooms were simple they were very clean and our air conditioning worked excellently!
We would definitely stay here again.
