    Downtown Phoenix is boring. The hotel property was exceptional except for the restaurants. The bars and restaurants were overpriced, lacked variety, and portion sizes were more suited for kids. The biggest problem is the lack of transparency with taxes and fees. Third parties involved such as Agoda offers zero transparency with their tax and fee charges while Westin double charges their "Urban fee" of 30 usd per night. I'm certain Agoda charges the Urban fee during booking and the Westin charges the Urban fee again during your stay. Agoda will not provide a breakdown of the upfront taxes and fees which is over 33% of the room charge.
