We stayed here at the end of 21 days of safari and then a few days in Stone Town and it was the greatest two days of the trip. It's near the airport, so it's perfect to cap off a trip. The room was steps from a small private beach. It's not near anything but it was gorgeous and spotless and luxurious, which is exactly what we needed before the grueling trip home.

Hotel conpound and room very nice and clean, exceptionally friendly staff and good food at the restaurant, also breakfast was decent.
Only the bathroom could use some renovation, the handle of the shower was very rusty.
