It’s time to consider replacing the mattresses. I would recommend introducing Arabic cuisine.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Vana Nava Hua Hin for two nights, paying ***. Unfortunately, my overall experience did not meet my expectations. While there were some positive aspects, several issues significantly affected my stay. ### 1. Misleading Information About Member Benefits The first disappointment occurred during check-in. The front desk staff informed me that I had automatically become an IHG member using the email address I registered and that I was entitled to a 20% discount on all food and beverages throughout the hotel. Before entering my room, I visited Talay Bar on the 7th floor for the welcome drink. The bar staff confirmed exactly the same information, so I ordered one ice cream for my son and one cookie for myself. However, when it was time to pay, I was informed that these items were excluded from the promotion. The inconsistent information provided by both the Front Desk and the Bar staff caused confusion and left a very poor first impression. ### 2. Room Quality and Comfort Considering that I paid *** for a two-night stay, I expected a much better room experience. * No toothbrush or toothpaste was prepared in the room. I had to request them from housekeeping. * One of the bathroom mirror lights was defective and started flickering after being turned on for a short time. * My room was located directly at a three-way elevator intersection, making the environment noisy and uncomfortable. * The air-conditioning system appeared to malfunction. Although I set the temperature to 25°C, the room temperature continued dropping from 24°C to around 20°C without stopping. The compressor never seemed to cycle off, making the room extremely cold. My family and I could not sleep comfortably and eventually had to switch off the air conditioner to avoid getting sick. ### 3. Poor Elevator Management During busy periods, the elevator system was poorly managed. There were not enough elevators to accommodate guests, and no staff members were available to assist with crowd management. Elevators frequently passed without stopping despite being full, resulting in long waiting times. I have stayed at many other hotels with similar occupancy levels, and they managed elevator traffic much more efficiently. ### 4. Breakfast Organization Breakfast was another disappointing experience. Guests were required to queue for a considerable amount of time just to obtain a table. Although the restaurant had two seating sections, many food and beverage stations were available only in one area. For example, if you were seated on the right side, only water and guava juice were available. Anyone wanting orange juice had to walk approximately 25 meters through a crowded dining area to reach the left-side station, even though there was already a beverage station on the right that could easily have offered the same selection. A professionally managed hotel should anticipate high occupancy and organize breakfast service accordingly. ### 5. The Most Serious Issue – Incorrect Charges During Check-out The most disappointing part of my stay was the check-out process. I asked my wife to check out using my credit card to pay for our legitimate charges from Vana Nava Water Jungle on 27 July 2026, totaling THB 625 for food and beverages. However, an additional charge of THB 500 from Talay Bar had been posted to my room. I never made this purchase. I only visited Talay Bar once, on the first day of my stay, to buy the ice cream and cookie, which I paid for immediately. Due to my dissatisfaction with the misleading information provided by the staff, I never returned to the bar. The Front Desk later explained that a group of foreign guests had requested their purchases be charged to my room. This raises serious concerns because room-charge procedures should require staff to verify the guest's identity, room number, and signature before posting charges. I cannot determine whether this mistake resulted from negligence during a busy period
