My husband and I had several frustrating experiences during our stay that could have easily been avoided.
The hotel advertises a 24/7 airport shuttle, but that was far from the case for us. When we arrived at the airport, we called several times and kept getting transferred to different people only to be met with apathy and no assistance. The last time we called back, we were told to contact Expedia about arranging transportation, despite the hotel advertising an airport shuttle.
What made this even more disappointing was that another nearby hotel stepped in to help when ours wouldn’t. They provided taxi vouchers for transportation to our hotel and back to the airport and even invited us to tour their property for free breakfast (all for free) with no catch. Their staff demonstrated the level of customer service we had hoped to receive from our hotel.
We were also surprised by an excessive resort fee that was not clearly disclosed when we booked our stay. In addition, the complimentary sparkling wine included with our reservation was not in our room upon arrival. We had to ask about it after two days of being there before it was finally delivered.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, but these avoidable issues significantly affected our overall experience.

After calling back, he told us to call Expedia for a shuttle that the hotel advertises.

They gave us free taxi vouchers to our hotel and back to the airport and even invited us to check out their property. Their staff showed us the kind of customer service we wish we had received from the start.
We were also surprised with a $300 resort fee that wasn’t clearly disclosed when we booked. On top of that, the complimentary sparkling wine included with our reservation wasn’t in our room. We had to ask about it after two days before we received it.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, but these unnecessary issues took away from our overall experience.

Excellent resort for location. Too many requests to purchase more packages that should be complimentary but overall it was worth the stay.
