Lovely hotel. Very warm welcome and beautiful setting. Rooms were comfortable and we slept well. Dining facilities were excellent too. Dinner was superb and wine list extensive but not expensive! Breakfast freshly cooked to order was delicious. Thank you.

What i disliked was the fact expedia do not inform people
that the hotel has a wedding reception every saturday, so the restaurant and bar are closed, and Sunday the bar and restaurant are closed. Not great if you are only staying for the weekend. Sending an email was to late when you are driving 7 hours with no wifi.

Helpful staff, large comfortable bedroom, good restaurant, nicely equiped en suite all clean and an interesting building in a beautiful setting. What's not to like?
