The pros: Location is superb. Walking distance to Youme town small shopping center. The size of the room is slightly bigger than typical japanese business hotel. Public bath is a bonus. The cons: Height of the mattress is too low. Pillow is only one per person and thin.

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Fukuyama station. There is a convenience store and grocery shop, which is about 4-5 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel is clean and new. The breakfast buffet is good. The big baths at the top offers a good view of the city. The outdoor bath is nice as well. The room I booked is a moderate double room. I like the way the desk table is set near the window so the room feels spacious. If you come by car, this is a good hotel as they have parking and since it is a little far from the station. I stayed in August,2026 and it was very hot to walk. There are taxis in the station if you don't like to walk. The price is also very reasonable considering that breakfast and public baths are included.

We stayed there, to visit a few places and it's a short walk from the station. The room was quite big for Japanese hotels and everything was clean. The staff spoke English which was really nice. I would recommend the hotel as a base for the surrounding area.

Hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the station. There was scaffolding covering the building and some noise from works. Photos advertising sauna and outdoor baths are misleading. They are for MEN ONLY. Women have only a small standard indoor bath with no view. Amenities were available and some nice products in the onsen area. Microwave and ice machine available too. Rooms were standard and no bottled water provided. Fridge didn't seem to keep anything cold/be turned on. Strict about no tattoos in onsens, though understandable as its a less touristic area. Staff were happy to store luggage for us which was very helpful.
