The property is beautiful.
The outdoors, entrance and hall are gorgeous.
Very Scottish looking, which was what we wanted, however the room we stayed have seen better days.
There was mould all over the tiles in the shower, the windows are old so the room was freezing cold. We had to ask for extra duvets because the ones they gave us weren’t enough.
The carpet is very dirty and stained.
House keeping needs to do a better job at cleaning, even the mug and cutlery were dirty.
It’s such a shame the rooms aren’t being well looked after, as the property has an amazing potential
The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant is delicious.

Most of the staff were pleasant, some left a bit to be desired. The whole building needs a lot of tlc, windows are in need of maintenance and leaking walls and ceilings. Liked the lounge, stair carpet very worn. Has an interesting history. Just make sure you check your bill before leaving.
