Sapana Garden was fine for what it is, a no frills inexpensive hotel in Thamel.
The hot water and a/c work, so can't ask for much more than that. The room is basic with no creature comforts. The breakfast was quite good, actually. Potatoes with garlic was delicious.
Good location if you can find it--it's tucked away between two streets.
It does the job, as long as you don't expect too much.

It was one of my best stays outside my country. I really appreciate Ram for his kindness to last minute arrangements for my trip to Pokhara. The location, food, staff, cleanliness, bed everything is perfect.
It was great value of money.
