We were delayed due to train issues but were still welcomed by their staff though we arrived late in the evening. Their rooms are very comfortable and welcoming. What's unique about the Oakhurst Gatwick was their invitation the night before to complete a menu which allowed their chef the next morning to customize your hot meal breakfast, according to your tastes. As a smaller hotel, the atmosphere at breakfast was peaceful, personalized and refreshing.

We were more needy than usual due to sickness. They provided for our needs graciously. The shuttle transport for pickup and drop off to the airport was fast and efficient. The English breakfast and coffee was fantastic as well. The owner and staff were wonderful. Highly recommend this accommodation to all.

The service was very personable. They bent over backwards to make sure it was a success. This really is a great experience.
I can't say the same about Hotels.com. The website was terrible. Misleading process. Wildly wrong numbers. Failing chatbot. 'just terrible.
