    On arrival it looked to be an ok place,but soon realised that it was full of non English residents and not the holiday maker type, after hearing other customers from the hotel I soon became aware that this was also being used as a migrant hotel,they had turned one of the rooms I presume to be the restaurant into a prayer room,one female customer left the hotel because she didn't feel safe,another left after being threatened because he had a dog with him and the final straw was when I seen a minibus full of what I can only assume was illegal migrants being unloaded at around 2am. Its such a shame to see this happening in Newquay. We will not be visiting this hotel again and will recommend against anyone visiting also, I sincerely hope that agoda isn't aware of this and I would seriously consider Not booking through this site again.

    I could never have afforded to stay for 4 nights on Newquay's seafront , had it not been for the Beresford Hotel. Once you accept that this isn't a 5 star hotel , then you realise that the important things like a clean room and friendliness and helpfullness of staff are what matters. ( Joe and Usman in particular were exceptional....but also , ALL the staff I encountered were so very nice to me during my stay. Overall , a thoroughly pleasant time for me at the Beresford .

    Location is great as the place is in front if the beach. A walking distance to the city centre.

    The room was very out dated, very small and cramped. Was paint missing on the walls with plaster in place, not what we would be expecting from photos advertised. Didn’t even stay one night.
