The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The room itself is very basic—there was no mini fridge, and the microwave is located in the hallway near the ice machine.
The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room keys didn’t work the first night, and the staff member was still very pleasant even though she had to come let us in with the master key. We were able to get working keys the next day on our way out.
The bathroom could have used a deeper clean, especially the walls, but overall the room was acceptable. This is a very old building with a lot of history and character, which adds to the charm.
Parking was a little tricky. There was only one space left when we arrived, so we were glad all four of us rode together.
The building itself is fantastic. The long porch with rocking chairs and beautiful lake views was one of our favorite parts of the stay. The lake is gorgeous, and there are plenty of enjoyable things to do and see around it.
