Had a great stay infront of the beach and love the dinner at the hotel. Breakfast was ok but overall resort was great for sunset view!

Overall ok but internet is very bad and there are a lot of flies. They should keep the place more clean . Keep your resort out of flies please. Very annoying this is

I recently stayed at this resort for 4 nights at the Paya Resort beach villa. The room was pretty basic and it was very near the beachfront. View was nice from the balcony and it was nice to sit there when it wasn’t raining. Staff were helpful. That being said, for the price point, I didn’t find the room worth the money. It rained almost everyday when I was there so below were some issues i encountered . The toilet kept opening when there was strong winds and we couldn’t keep it closed so there would be the sound of the door moving at night. The shower is open-air above AND if it rains, I will be showering in the rain actually. The balcony is partially covered. So if I wish to sit on the balcony on a rainy day to have tea, I cannot, because it is not fully sheltered. Chairs and table all wet. Defeats the purpose of having a balcony. The deck chairs also felt a little unstable maybe due to wear and tear. They had like a bathtub on the balcony which was constantly filled with debris from outside, so we didn’t use it. Not a very practical design. Breakfast was free but same thing everyday for 4 days straight. The place itself is nice for R&R and they have activities if you wish to join. There are lots of cats and kittens running around the area, great for cat lovers. My main issue is the room because it’s design is impractical and it was really really not worth the price I paid. I have attached photos of the area above shower as well as above the balcony where the deck chairs are, in this review.
