    I would like to highlight a serious safety issue I experienced during my stay. In the bathroom, there is a long glass shelf that extends outward and has sharp edges. While I was disposing of some toiletries into the bin located directly below the shelf, I accidentally hit my forehead against the sharp glass edge. The impact caused a deep cut, and my forehead was bleeding heavily. I immediately asked my wife to approach the reception to request a first-aid kit. Unfortunately, the only assistance provided was a few plasters. What was even more disappointing was the lack of concern and urgency from the staff, who did not appear worried about the situation or offer any meaningful assistance. I am very disappointed with the response and the level of professionalism shown during what could have been a much more serious accident. I strongly urge the management to review the design and placement of the glass shelf, as well as the staff’s procedures for responding to guest injuries, to prevent a similar incident from happening to another guest.

    The signboards were confusing, stating Pounammu apartments when I arrived with my trolley luggage. I walked around various blocks on the hill trying to locate the reception. When I finally located the reception, they told me that my room is across the street, and I would have to carry my luggage up 2 flights of stairs, walk to the far end and take it up another 2 flight of stairs. They did not provide any porter service. The room was small and tight. I found it challenging to unpack my suitcase around the bed. In terms of facilities, the Nespresso machine didn't work- capsules fell straight through the loader. Unless you like an upper body workout at a off-centre accommodation, consider another hotel if your budget allows for it. The only saving grace for this hotel is that the bus stop to the airport is right in front of the hotel.
