Stayed in this hotel for four nights. Friendly staff and well situated near the center. There’s a large parking next to the hotel (paid parking).

The hotel is nice but tired Price is for the location which is superb but rooms need updating and our bathroom (room 102) was dangerous. Room was very small with. I kettle or coffee machine (available downstairs in breakfast room if you are inclined to go and fetch it). The bath is set in a wall space. getting in and out very hard unless you are a gymnast (we over 65 struggled). The support handle was loose and of no use. Toilet is jammed between end of bath and sink.
Breakfast was ok with a continental choice.
Check in is 1500, don’t arrive early or you will be made to wait until 1500 or pay extra to gain access to your empty and ready room!!!! We arrived at 1430 and had to sit in foyer for 30 minutes. the only Staff we saw was a lady in reception when we arrived and a lady at breakfast who also seems to be manning reception over the weekend.
