Clean hotel,friendly staff

The room was clean and looked just like the photos. The staff was friendly and breakfast was a nice touch. The location was truly in the heart of the City Center. 2 things I didn't like: 1 was that I had asked for no services at the front and even put the do not disturb sign up, but when I returned several hours later, someone had been inside as tlour blinds had been opened and our double locked room was only single locked. None of our items appeared tampered with, which includes some money that was not in plain sight, but not hidden either, so I doubt there was nefarious purposes for the entry, but still annoying. 2: I definitely got overcharged when I paid at check-in. Anywhere from €10-28.18 I was told was from mandatory tax for visitors, which I thought Expedia would have included, but maybe not. The other 10 I am pretty sure was an addition error. I spoke to one staff about it, and they showed how the total was 225€. I explained that I had been charged 23.500 Lek, and they gave a response about that being the difference and I didn't want to argue over 10€ as it was a nice stay. I would still stay here again, but knowing that 1€ is roughly 100 Lek, I would have said something at check in prior to paying rather than seeing my credit card statement be higher.

Staff where friendly and helpful good location easy to get around would definitely recommen 😊

Room was cleanish. The rooms are not sound proof and you can hear everything to people waking up and down the stairs to the people next to you and above you. The breakfast was minimal and if you didn’t get there at 8 when it opened you might miss out as when it’s gone that’s it. The bathroom had a drainage smell, the shower leaked and the overall room needed updates. I wouldn’t recommend staying more than one night. Close to city center,5 minute walk.
