I stayed at the Oxford Hotel earlier this year and found the staff to be great, breakfast wonderful, the hotel clean and in a great location so I was thrilled to be able to stay again, this time with friends.
Well…when one of the gals fell off a curb and hurt her foot, we took a taxi back to the hotel and asked for some ice for the swelling. When the owner of the hotel realized what happened, he offered and took my friend to the hospital 20-30 minutes away. He navigated her through the process of getting and xray and an exam. When the doctor told her should need to be placed in a boot, he went out and bought it for her and brought it back to the hospital. Once she was done with her exam, he drove her back to the hotel. He would not take any money for his time or expense. We were floored at how much he and his staff went out of their way to accommodate and make sure she was taken care of.
This level of care and kindness is truly remarkable. The Oxford Hotel doesn’t just provide excellent accommodations—they treat their guests like family. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
