Check-in very efficient. Be aware there is no lift. Most front desk staff know English and are very helpful. Good Turkish breakfast (boiled eggs, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, sliced sausages, and plenty of good Turkish bread) every morning. Our room was small but efficient. Air conditioning worked fine. We had a small refrigerator in the room, which was nice. Could buy bottles of cold water from the cooler downstairs. There was a small TV in the room -- we didn't use it. Wifi was unpredictable -- usually OK. Our room had no desk or chair, so working on my laptop meant sitting on the bed. Only one electrical outlet in the room. Beds were comfortable. Dim lighting in the bathroom. Hot water all day long. We stayed two weeks, the sheets / towels were changed once, which was OK. (Rooms cleaned daily.) Probably could request more frequent changes -- the staff tries very hard to be accommodating and helpful. The street has numerous small eateries and Bufe shops within easy walking distance. The hotel is located in a working street -- most shops close by 6 PM. Some eateries are open a little later. Great way to experience authentic Istanbul off the main tourist path. Easy access to pubic transport for other parts of the city. Walking distance to Sultan Ahmet area (about 20 minutes). A great hotel in a vibrant area. Front desk staff helped arrange transportation to and from Ataturk airport. We would choose this hotel again. Wonderful experience.

Used it before and will continue to go to it - helpful Ataf and good location

Our family of 10 arrived late afternoon and had to depart at 3am. They ordered our supper for us and arranged us a reasonably priced shuttle to the airport. They even prepared sandwiches for us to take for breakfast. We felt like part of the family!
