    The hotel location is very nice, near Ikebukuro station, if a 5-10 mins walk from hotel to station does not bother you this is a nice hotel. Staff was very friendly, one of the staff seemed a little strict but very accommodating none the less. I only had 3 bags with me so the room was spacious. Only down side is that the hotel's coin laundry is behind the hotel and is not connected to the hotel itself for some reason, you have to go outside and round the corner to access the coin laundry. The room i had, had a built-in radio in the bed, it was cool that i had it on some Japanese channel while trying to sleep. If I will be in Ikebukuro again i would definitely be coming back to the Hotel.

    The hotel staff are very helpful and accommodating, and they patiently explain everything in detail despite having limited English. Although the hotel is older, it is cozy and well maintained. Our room was spacious enough to move around comfortably. The food selection is limited but acceptable, and overall the hotel offers great value for money.

    You have to leave your key at the front desk when you go out, and when you need it back, you can just ask for any room number and they will give it to you without any identification check
