We chose the hotel for its location and the fact that there was parking. Other than checking in, we had no real interaction with the staff because we booked one of the apartments. It was ideal - bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with sitting/dining area. There was a small grocery store around the corner where we could buy supplies. We were only about a 10 -15 minute walk to York Minster and other interesting sights.

The staff were exceptional from the moment we checked in; friendly and extremely helpful and kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed for dinner and the meal was delicious and the server exceptional. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, was well presented and cooked. The fruit on offer was also very fresh. This is one of the best hotel experiences I have enjoyed. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great room with a beautiful view of the river and the city. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was available, but like everywhere in downtown areas, very tight spots. The only issue was there was no access to the parking lot from the inside of the hotel; they have to open the garage door for you, so plan not to have access to your car unless you absolutely need it.
