    Very disappointing stay – poor room condition and terrible complaint handling I am extremely disappointed with our stay. When I made the booking, the other room types were sold out, so I booked the available 2-bedroom unit with 3 beds and requested an extra bed. After receiving my confirmation, I even made a long-distance international call to the hotel to reconfirm both my reservation and the extra-bed request. Despite this, when we checked in, the extra bed had not been prepared at all. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. The shower had a serious drainage problem. While showering, the water would not drain properly and started accumulating/flooding in the shower area. The carpet around the dining area was also stained and had an unpleasant smell, which made the room feel poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. There was also a large door/panel inside the room marked “DO NOT OPEN.” There was no explanation of what it was, which made us uncomfortable. What disappointed me most was the hotel’s response. I went to the front desk and reported the problems, but instead of properly recording and handling my complaint, the staff simply wrote the issues down on a sticky note. I later filed a complaint, but there was no proper follow-up, no meaningful response and no compensation offered. For the amount we paid, this level of room maintenance and customer service was unacceptable. I made the effort to call internationally before arriving specifically to make sure everything was confirmed, yet the hotel still failed to prepare our requested extra bed. When additional problems occurred, there seemed to be no proper system for dealing with guest complaints. The room itself may look good in photos, but based on our experience, the maintenance, cleanliness and customer service were very disappointing. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel based on how our problems were handled.

    The hotel is nice and it gave the Japanese interior vibes. Price is a little on the high side. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

    Highly recommend UH Suites The Myeongdong Family Suites for families & groups travellers. There's 3 bedrooms with a queen size bed in it each. Spacious living room with a big sofa, where we can hangout after a long day of exploring Seoul. The 2-3 toilets layout are convenient for us too. It's conveniently located in Myeongdong with plenty of shops, eateries & subway station within walking distance.

    Do not recommend service is terrible. No service from start to finish. Awful front desk rude and unhelpful. When we arrived at luggage no offer to help at all. Upon check out 11 they said if 15 minutes late I would be charged a fee which I have never experienced in any hotel. Due to be so rushed I couldn’t find one of room keys to return so they charged me for it which again I have never experienced in any hotel. Also when I asked if I could go back to find key in room they said no! Absurd! The worst hotel experience
