    ​Highly recommend this newly renovated spot! The staff were so nice—they let us check in early and took care of carrying our heavy bags to the room. ​Just a heads-up for future guests: you check in about 50 meters away at Hotel Mario’s. Hotel Mario's has a elevator soon, but Hotel Monica doesn't just yet. ​We needed to head out early the first two days, and the team was sweet enough to pack our breakfasts before 7 AM. The regular Western breakfast is simple but really good. Thanks for a great stay!

    Estuvimos en una habitación triple que era bastante grande con un armario de perchas de buen tamaño. Había mantas en el armario por si tenías frío, yo las utilicé. La cama aunque no es la más cómoda que he estado, está bastante bien. El desayuno era bueno, con frutas cortadas, máquina de café con varios tipos de café, que estaban muy buenos, recomiendo probar el delicioso café de orzo. También había bollería de buena calidad y para hacer tostadas dulces y de jamón y queso. Muy bien situado, cerca de la estación, hay que andar un poquito y a 10-15 minutos andando de los monumentos.

    I knew I had booked a 2 star hotel, but it turned out to be better than I expected. + Great location, old renovation, but tidy. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean sheets and towels. - I didn't like that the pillows were too small. Water was pooling on the floor in the toilet, which was a problem. In conclusion: If you are a tourist and need a hotel just to sleep, this hotel is a good choice for this price.

    spent 3 nights, had some trouble on checking in. We had to go different building for main gate security code and room key. It is not like a hotel or hostel, more like a apartment. Had some bad smell in entire building. We were just there to spend the night so no complains about it. Just leaving a comment about it for future customers.
