Simple room that was great for a couple nights. Comfortable bed, new bathroom. Good breakfast. Location is convenient to getting to train station & tourist sites are a short walk. Lots of great restaurants to chose from in the street.

Great stay and perfect location—we walked everywhere! We only took the bus back from Piazzale Michelangelo, which dropped us off at Firenze SMN station for an easy walk to the hotel. Room 19 was spacious with a newly renovated bathroom. The guy from Mario's Hotel who checked us in seemed strict at first, but he was actually very kind and accommodating with our requests. Downsides: No elevator and lots of stairs Entrance is shared and not well- maintained building. Once inside the hotel itself, everything was great. We would definitely stay here again!

spent 3 nights, had some trouble on checking in. We had to go different building for main gate security code and room key. It is not like a hotel or hostel, more like a apartment. Had some bad smell in entire building. We were just there to spend the night so no complains about it. Just leaving a comment about it for future customers.
