    The hotel staffs are friendly and great welcoming. They are love to share with us the city of Hanoi where to go to visit. Overall, it’s great place to stay. Eating and window shopping are in walking in distance!

    Stayed here as part of an ongoing boutique hotel series covering Hanoi's historic Old Quarter. The Minerva delivers what you'd expect from a well-run boutique at this price point, and adds a rooftop bar that becomes the standout feature once the day cools down. Staff were excellent from the moment we arrived — friendly, helpful, and quick to share recommendations for the local area. Lobby has comfortable seating for early arrivals. Room is compact but makes good use of the space — comfortable bed, desk area, side table and chair, tea and coffee setup, and a stocked minibar. The closet includes slippers, robes, a safe, a scale, and laundry service with proper hangers — more than most boutiques in this category provide. Bathroom has limited counter space at the sink but comes with a hairdryer already set up and, notably, separate enclosed areas for the shower and toilet. That separation is a genuine step up from the standard boutique bathroom. Breakfast is included and follows the Hanoi boutique format well — small buffet with rice dishes, baked beans, chicken, cereal, and fruit, alongside à la carte pho and made-to-order eggs ordered from the table. The rooftop bar is the differentiator. Good views over the surrounding neighborhood, and a natural place to wind down in the evening when the heat has dropped. Rooftop bars are common in this part of Hanoi and the Minerva holds its own.

    Staff were friendly and very helpful while rooms were spacious and clean. the shower cubicle is really huge. Only average experience was the SPA which wasn't very good imho. Roof top bar is nice. Only stayed 1 night but would definitely be staying at this hotel when back in Hanoi. Front desk staff was awesome!!!
