All staff were amazing. The accommodation though basic, was more than adequate. Air conditioning was a big plus. There’s a lovely cafe and restaurant on site which is very reasonably priced. We fed the elephants in the morning from our room which was an amazing experience and then washed some in the nearby river. The animals seemed very well looked after and there was care over their wellbeing. The place itself is right in the forest which is super cool.

We stayed here 3 nights. Amazing from start to finish! Rain wasn’t a problem,l being rainy season. Weather was lovely and only had one downpour, which made the walking though the jungle very interesting with the Elep😂

If you want to make a magical holiday for your children as I did.. this is it. Immersed in beautiful jungle. Waking up to amazing creatures calling and singing. Elephants all around. The day trip, washing, feeding and cuddling elephants with bamboo rafting was a truly magical day. They will never forget it. Staff are super friendly and good with the kids. Breakfast is basic but enough of everything. There’s not a lot in the evening. I think everything finishes at 8. It’s just the place to absorb and reflect on your experience there.

Accommodation and staff were great, but I was really concerned about the elephant. I’ve visited several elephant facilities before and respect the local culture of raising elephants as part of the family. But here, the chain used after working hours seemed far too short — the elephant couldn’t even move around properly, lie down, or turn comfortably. Really hope they can improve this.
