The hotel staff were amazing, as the people in Vietnam are. The hotel is a little run down and doesn’t look like the photos. The staff do keep on top of the gardens but it just needs a little tlc. We still had an enjoyable time. The room was so clean. And I think perhaps we didn’t understand where we were booking. But thank you for looking after us

Right in the centre of An Bang Beach. Superior room was large, bathroom large and clean. Breakfast spread was good, buffet style, staff was very friendly and always asking if you need help. Make sure to vistit the Rustic House restaurant for lunch and dinner. Ms Ocean gives workshops in lantern making and you can paint your own vietnamese hat. Food is so good and run by a very loving family. Enjoy your stay at Aira!

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The main issue was that the room I received did not match my booking. My reservation clearly stated “Garden View,” but upon check-in, I was assigned a Pool View room instead. I had also booked a Twin Room, but was given a room with a double bed without any prior notice or explanation. In addition, the room had an unpleasant smell, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. I raised these concerns with the hotel staff, but unfortunately, no reasonable solution or alternative was offered. I would also like to point out that guests should be very careful when making a reservation at this hotel. The room options and descriptions, such as “Terrace” and “Balcony,” can be confusing, so it is important to check every detail carefully before confirming a booking. In my case, despite selecting the room based on the information shown in my reservation, the room I received did not match what I had booked. The overall service also felt less professional than expected. I am not sure whether the hotel has recently changed ownership or management, but the experience did not meet the standard I would expect from a professionally managed property. Regarding the location, while the hotel is close to the beach, it is not particularly convenient for accessing nearby cafés or other beach facilities. There were also no beach chairs available, which further limited the overall beach experience. That said, I would like to acknowledge that some members of the staff were very kind and helpful. The staff who assisted with my luggage upon arrival and departure were particularly helpful, the receptionist during check-out was friendly and professional, and the breakfast staff also provided good service. Overall, however, I was very dissatisfied with the room condition, the discrepancy between my booking and the room provided, and most importantly, the lack of an appropriate response from the hotel when I raised these issues.
