The hosts are amazing and make you feel very welcomed. They are some of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Breakfast was so good and the property is very beautiful. We had an amazing time exploring the area while we were there. I stayed with two young boys and they loved it here.

It is hard to know where to begin this review. From the initial amazement when entering the property and seeing the lush environment to the astonishment of learning that Roger and Rosa took over this property years ago when it was a cow pasture and have converted it into an absolute tropical paradise. He plants 2000 plants a year with the emphasis on indigenous plants and attraction of animals. The stonework all from native stone is phenomenal.
The breakfasts were amazing.
Their hospitality was outstanding and always with a concern that we were getting everything we needed.
It is a bit off the beaten path, but worth every pothole and rut and more to get there. You will not go wrong coming to Malekus Mountain Lodge.

Roger and Rosie were exceptional hosts. The property is beautful and the breakfasts are amazing. A wonderful escape - we will be back.
