Came with my husband after bagatelle and this experience was so much better!

Stayed for 8 nights for 9pax in 5 rooms. Overall decent experience. Luxury boutique hotel with beautiful interior and location views. Set back is for a high end hotel, customer service experience was lacking. 1) breakfast spread is not the usual buffet style and served on table but with very good range of items beautifully presented. One member of the group is on keto diet and asked for extra eggs and was charged 400lira for additional 4 eggs. Quite a turn off for the price of 4 additional fried eggs. Guests were not informed of what are the available options to order and no full clarity or explanation given by servers. No menu on table as well so guest will only find out what is available to order if the waiter/waitress informs. However have to say that some waiters are fantastic (we experienced this towards the end of the stay) but it’s not consistent with all the waiters./waitress. 2) 2 guest in one of the rooms had their room door left open after cleaning not once but twice during the stay. First time it happened, the lock was broken and immediately requested hotel attention and action. Hotel was nice to offer a bottle of wine and cookies for the “inconvenience”. Then a few days it happened again that the door was left open. Shocking! Throughout this time all of us had all our valuables with us due to the fear it had created. 3) 2 other rooms were facing a path between this hotel and the opposite hotel with people passing by late into the ight and early mornings causing disturbances and lack of privacy requiring the curtains to be constantly drawn up. The deluxe room did not feel delux and there were no views but a pathway and a hotel across with about 8 meters away. Hotel staff accommodated a change in one of the rooms 4th day onwards. 4) the safe in one of the rooms were not working and the cleaning does not seem to have a checklist. Inconsistent services experienced by all guests from room cleaning. Sometimes no refil of water, missed replacing towels and floor mat etc. For a labeled high end luxury boutique top tier priced hotel, service can definitely improve to let guests feel welcomed and happy during their stay. This is especially so for guests who stays for such long duration. I would likely explore other hotels if I visit again for that price paid but then maybe the service in other hotels is equally bad or worse in that region hence cannot really be sure as my improvement opportunity feedback is based on other experiences I had for long term stays in luxury hotels globally which feels personal, warm and very welcomed.
