Terry is a wonderful host and she prepares delicious breakfasts. The home is charming and it sits on a lake with a view of Mount Monadanock. There is a fridge stocked with soft drinks, wine and beer (complimentary). There is a TV room. Terry prepares a nice mid-afternoon snack. We think it is the best B & B.

Terry was an amazing host. She was so hospitable and made my stay here that much more comfortable. She not only cooks really amazing breakfast but she was so helpful when I wanted to check out the town. Her house is really truly beautiful and the lake is a little walk away from the house. I highly recommend coming here.

I was looking for basic lodging while attending a funeral.
This was such an amazing place to stay that I'm planning to come back next year for a relaxing vacation, sitting on the back deck looking at the lake, enjoying a cold drink and a good book.

We visited the area for a wedding, and our experience at the Maguire House went above and beyond all expectations. The location is stunning, and the house is beautifully kept up. The room was very nice as well with all the necessary amenities. Even more amazing were the owners who went out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. They were extraordinarily nice and very helpful, and the breakfasts and snacks were incredbile. We would happily stay here again any chance we get.
