A lot of the reviews do not give an accurate picture of what your stay will be like here. It's a normal, medium budget hotel. Breakfast is not "full" or "spectacular", it's standard bins of a couple food staples like eggs and bread, maybe sausage if you're lucky. The pool, while it looks great, is mostly ankle deep except the center, and closes at night. Real missed opportunity for a pool bar. But the big thing is just that this hotel is surrounded by clubs and bars playing SUPER LOUD music until 3AM or later. I tried to switch rooms every night, finally was switched the last night and it didn't matter. Supposedly there are some quiet rooms in the interior somewhere, but my experience was that even with earplugs, the bass was so loud that there was no sleeping.
In short, if you're going to party at the beach bars until late and sleep all day, this is a great location. For everyone else, it's a pass.
