    Run down hotel, 1 star not 3 stars not well maintained. Pictures not accurate. We booked a Family room for the 4 of us. It was quite difficult to find a room for 4pax in hanoi. Arrived early at 6am from lao cai. Grumpy receptionist was sleeping on the sofa and told us to be back at 12pm for check in. At 12pm, we’ve been told the check in was 2pm, nothing more. Then when we came back at 2pm, the same lady told us that a “mistake” was made and our family room was given to another 🇮🇳 family. 🤨🤨🤨 . Since we were staying for 1 night, she “thought” it was acceptable for us to get 2 rooms instead of 1. First Option given was 1 room in the back + 1 room without window on 2 different floors. Then she magically managed to find another room with window on the same floor. Location is good near the church, it will suit solo traveller or backpacker but definitely not a family. Do yourself a favour and pay more for better ease of mind.
