As usual we found The Vine up to it's usual high standard. The staff are undoubtedly the stars. We have lost count of how many times we have stayed here. It is ideally situated close to the centre of Funchal.
One new feature we found was the Sunday evening buffet with entertainment by the Madeira Folklore group. Excellent value, with an incredible hot and cold buffet, drinks included. Highly recommended, and
we will certainly be booking our place on our next visit.
Also worth a mention is the spa treatment, incredible massages.
Thanks once again to the incredible staff for looking after us so well.

The location, roof top pool/bar and beautiful room/amenities were perfect for our short stay in Funchal. Easy private parking was also a plus as we had a car to explore the island.

The hotel was great and really well situated. The two pools on the roof were also great and never busy. All the staff especially the reception and over breakfast Antonio in particular were amazing. The breakfasts were the best we’ve had for a long time. Really enjoyed our stay and if we visit Madeira again without hesitation I would pick The Vine
