I was very happy with my stay at Hotel Conte Ischia.
1. The location was perfect - 1 minute walk to the beach, right beside a variety of shops and restaurants and very walkable from the port where ferries arrive.
2. I was in a single room, it was basic but clean with a small balcony where you could sit out and had good air conditioning. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed.
3. All the staff I dealt with were very pleasant and helpful.
4. The breakfast, which was included in my price was sufficient.
The only criticism would be that if you are someone who goes to bed early, it can be noisy outside with music, people etc but this normally quietens around midnight.
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, for location and value for money, and I would definitely use it as a base again if I were returning to Ischia.
