Lovely hosts with great local recommendations. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Spent a full day relaxing by the pool during a heat wave. Easy access to St Emilion. Comes with a bonus friendly fat chateau cat on the grounds.

A super personal experience in a beautiful building. We had the room with the patio that was lovely. It was very hot and there is no AC - so be aware of that. Made use of the pool and a quick drive to the many wineries. Great experience

My wife and I needed a break from a fast paced couple of weeks of our vacation. This chateau and the property it sits on was nothing short of spectacular. As an extra bonus, Tess, Daphne and Celia were there to serve and help us with all of our needs. The breakfast that was served was always the best of the best, including homemade jams. Beautiful landscaping surrounds the pool, which we swam in and found very clean and refreshing. There are numerous vineyards in the immediate area with gorgeous drives to get there. The restaurants in the area exceeded our expectations, there are no big cities anywhere around. We would drive many miles, even out of our way, to visit and enjoy the company of the people we met at the chateau.

Our spacious room was tastefully modernized while still preserving the château’s historic character, and waking up to panoramic views of the Dordogne River was pure magic. Each morning began with a delicious traditional French breakfast featuring fresh cherries picked right from the owner’s garden — a small touch that made the experience feel even more special and authentic.
