Hotel is beautiful surrounded by lovely gardens, the hotel receptionist was extremely helpful with everything we enquired about (female). Two things we were disappointed in was the breakfast, which could be improved dramatically - I know they cater mainly for Italian tourists, but we have been to many other Italian hotels and this one has the poorest breakfast of all of them, for example: no cheese on ham, only pastries, bread and yoghurts very poor, and very little fruit. The second most important issue is the fact that the hotel on the website tells you they have their own private beach, no mention of charging for the sunbeds and umbrellas, so when you arrive they tell you the sunbeds are not included in the price. We believe if a hotel tells you they have a private beach, then surely the beds should be included in the price you pay, otherwise if they want to charge you, this should be clearly written in 'Hotel Details' for you to see before you book - very disappointing and unacceptable - this spoils the otherwise beautiful hotel, beach and very helpful staff.
