Our stay at Il Defizio was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The location is quiet with beautiful views of the rolling Tuscan hills. The complementary European breakfast was fresh and the service was excellent. Many Tuscan towns like San Gimignano and Volterra were a short drive away. Highly recommended.

If I could give 10 star review to the owners/staff I’d give it. They are all very kind and friendly and were willing to make my stay easier/better at every opportunity.. arranging early dinner, adding a lunch booking late, chatting to us about visits we were planning in the area.. the list is endless. The property is beautiful, the service is exceptional and the owners/staff are lovely. And the food is delicious. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel and area in the heart of Tuscany. It was so wonderful to be away from the big cities and immersed in small town cultural.

Oh my! What an absolutely stunning place. Ticks all the boxes for comfort, relaxation and gorgeous Tuscan experience. Room was comfortable, food INCREDIBLE and hosts amazing. Loved our time here.
