We had a really lovely stay at Burn Hall and were genuinely impressed with the whole experience.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel had a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The setting is beautiful, with plenty of greenery around the grounds, making it a really peaceful place to stay while still being within easy reach of York and the surrounding attractions.
Our room was comfortable, clean and well presented, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and approachable, which made a real difference and gave the hotel a warm, personal feel.
The breakfast was also excellent, with a good choice of options and everything fresh and well prepared. It was a great way to start the day before heading out exploring.
What we particularly liked was the location. Burn Hall is an ideal base for visiting York and the surrounding area, while being far enough away from the city to feel peaceful and relaxing when you return at the end of the day.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and felt that Burn Hall offered a lovely combination of comfort, location, friendly service and a beautiful setting. We would happily stay again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay near York.

Pros: location, quiet secluded close to York City.
Staff polite helpful professional
Cons:
Ensure you have mobile signal as no phone in the room.
Bathroom- mould around bath. Disabled shower chair that was fixed to floor.
No sanitary disposal bags
If you dont have your own toiletries, there was 20ml bottle shower/bath gel, bar soap, 20ml shampoo.
Need to ask for fan..bit noisy.
Was an expensive overnight ??3☆ stay.
B&B would have been as good if not better.

It is unsatisfactory that a room would not be serviced unless requested. Breakfast there was no choice of pastries or croissants. This hotel is not cheap per night so profit is held above client comfort.
