    I booked an air-conditioned room for four adults during the summer heat wave, but the room had no air conditioning whatsoever. While the staff repeatedly apologized, no meaningful solution or goodwill gesture was offered. The temperature in the room exceeded 35°C, making it impossible to sleep. The night was an absolute nightmare. We ended up leaving after just one night instead of the two we had booked, despite paying €450 for our stay. Throughout the experience, the staff continued to blame the booking platform (Agoda). However, one week later, the room is still being advertised as having air conditioning, which suggests that nothing has been done to correct the listing or prevent other guests from experiencing the same issue.

    This hotel was perfect for our needs, which were: - Close to the port of St Malo, for the ferry the following morning. - Secure allocated covered parking for our vintage motor car - Easy to navigate to from the east of the city (really simple…over the viaduct, and there it is on the right) - Moments from the historic centre of Dinan - Incredibly helpful staff. - Very good value for money.

    We had our room booked and prepaid. But we were not told that parking needs a separate reservation. As a result, we were stranded in a town with extremely limited parking choices. Rest of hotel was fine.
