I should have heeded the warnings from other travelers but when we checked into the suite (room 36) there was an awful smell like a dead rat or raw sewage emanating from the sink drain. Every time we used the sink it got worse. It was such a shame because the room was really beautiful and the balcony was spectacular with an amazing view. We were only staying one night and were too tired to switch rooms so we didn't communicate about the smell with the front desk. Since other reviewers elsewhere have mentioned it I assumed it's a known issue and they're not doing anything about it. Otherwise the staff was friendly, the location was good, and it was just a real bummer that it wasn't perfect!
