Hidden paradise in Koh Chang Honestly, this place is incredible if you just want to completely unwind. The whole resort feels like a hidden jungle oasis right on the water, surrounded by crazy lush tropical greenery. Stayed in one of the wooden bungalows—super comfortable bed, freezing AC, and a really cool rustic-luxury vibe. The beach area is beautiful and shaded by trees, with driftwood swings that are perfect for catching the sunset. They give you free kayaks and paddleboards too, which was a huge plus for paddling out in the evening with the mountains in the background. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and it’s an easy walk to a few great local restaurants down the road. Perfect mix of feeling secluded but still accessible. Will definitely be back.

I had an amazing stay at GajaPuri Resort & Spa. The location is honestly unbeatable as it is right on Kai Bae Beach with direct beach access, and surrounded by tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops, so everything you need is within walking distance. The highlight for me was the infinity pool overlooking the sea. You can watch the sunset right from the pool, and the views are unreal and some of the best sunsets I’ve seen in Thailand. The room and facilities were spotless, which is a huge priority for me, and they definitely delivered. The gym is on the smaller side, but still perfectly usable for a quick workout. If you want a clean, well-located resort with incredible views and easy access to everything, this place is a solid choice.

I liked this hotel but it lacks a decent beach. Nice pool and it’s got a few bars and restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly as I always find in Thailand. Room was fine and quite private. Breakfast was ok and the coffee was from a coffee machine so was quite nice.
