The location of the property was excellent. The worst part about room 213 were the beds they were terrible. They need to be replaced. They all sag into the middle. The bathrooms have cobwebs in them. The air conditioning was loud. I also noticed the certificate of inspection for the elevator was expired.

The location is great. The bar across the street is loud at closing. Close to everything. Beds were average. This particular unit was very run down. Worn carpet, peeling “ leather” furniture, scratched table, lamp without a lamp shade. Really just stayed for the location

The location is supreme. Right in the heart of everything. Loading and navigating luggage is difficult. Parking is inconvenient. Breakfast is minimalistic. The staff worked hard to compensate. In our room (double beds), one bed was sunken in the middle for some reason. The room was cheerful with nice views.

Any room facing the main street will be loud in the evenings on the weekends as the hotel is next to belly-up and the line forms right next to the hotel entrance. If you’re a light sleeper, probably not where you want to be. However, the views from the top floors are fantastic. Pick your poison. Other than that, great spot and highly recommend.

Superb location. Friendly staff. I stayed in one of the older rooms, but was able to view of some of the updated rooms wich were fantastic. The roof top views - amazing!!! I would return again.

The check - in process was very organized with coordination if after hours check-in was necessary. The room was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The location was wonderful to enjoy all amenities of downtown Aspen. Will definitely stay again.

Heat did not work properly during a severe cold snap. Had to get two space heaters in order to keep the room decently warm. Staff was helpful and sympathetic, but it was an issue to stay warm.also, the breakfast is particularly underwhelming. also one annoying thing was there was no bathrobe in my room so it was really freezing to go up on the roof and get in the hot tub and then make it back inside. Other people said they had bath robes, but there was not one in my room.

The location is key, right in the middle of Downtown Aspen with shops and restaurants all around and with a 2 min walk to the gondola. The negatives are that the hotel is very outdated. The windows in our room had gaps between the frame and the building wall creating a draft at all times and making it loud from outside noises. The thermostat did not work (would not go up above 67 F). When taking a shower hot water would run out so I had to wash my hair with cold water =(

This is a wonderful non cookie cutter hotel. It is less than four minute walk to Aspen gondola and less than two minutes to free public bus for Snowmass. It simply could not be more convenient. There is no elevator from the entrance to the lobby so if you cannot manage stairs you will have a problem. The elevator works from lobby to the rooms.

The room was decorated very nicely and the furniture was comfortable. The staff was willing to help solve some initial issues we had immediately with our room, and their service was fantastic. The breakfast was okay. Mostly premade. We had the biggest issue with parking. The property’s description said it had off site parking, and it was actually 3 blocks away.

Breakfast included fruit, bagels, toast, oatmeal packets, microwave burritos and Jimmy Dean sandwiches. Location in Aspen was central but parking included as website states does not mean you can park on site or nearby. The central area in Aspen you can’t park overnight except for motorcycles or scooters. We parked about a 5 minute walk away with a pass provided by the hotel. The room was great except for the fact there was little sound proofing- voices on street and street sweeping/construction at 6:30 am on a Monday morning were unexpected for a mountain getaway. The only con to the room was very small restroom with an awkward door configuration. Easy checkin and checkout, finding the entrance into the building is difficult to see from the street as shops occupied the lower floors. Enter on pedestrian court. Stairs going down into the building and then up once inside may pose difficulties for someone with mobility issues or unable to lift suit cases. Once in lobby nice elevator got us to our 3rd floor room.

This was a cute hotel but we had a couple of issues. Our air conditioner would run for less than 5 minutes and then make a banging sound and stop. I complained and I was told that someone would look into it. Our room was on the side of the bus station and between the banging air conditioner not working and the people talking loud at the bus station at all hours, we had 2 nights of terrible sleep and we only stayed there 2 nights. If the air conditioner would have worked properly, it would have drowned out the noise at the bus station. I complained again when we were leaving to the guy at the front desk.. the same guy that said he would have the air conditioner looked at by maintenance, and he told me “well u are paid in full, have a nice day”. I seriously could not believe that he didn’t offer any discount. My other complaint is that you have to walk at least 3 or 4 blocks to find parking which was absolutely nuts. Although that hotel was cute, the other problems ruined it for us.
