Tuncurry Motor Lodge

### for 3 nights was great, room stated to be renovated & was nice walking in, but tiles on the floors and bathroom was the only Reno's, all the cabinets unfinished and lined with blue chucks, fridge and freezer with dirty with hair in both, chopping board disgusting, oven build up gross, stove top rusted coroded, pots and pans falling apart, everything grimy and had to be washed, toaster, nope, little cockraoches running around, top bed cover, yes its known these do not get washed at properties only the sheets then that gos back on top, it smelt bad, the aircon my allergies started and I had a look full of mold and dust that thick on the filters it was lifting off, toilet paper roll put on window sill and had dust along the edges on the bottom The guy gave me a chopping board from there own kitchen, also black edged and smelt, said the cleaners could fix tomorrow, I said that dosent help me having bags of shopping to put away, he came back with a dry cloth started wiping, twice I asked if there was any spray and wipe he said the cleaners had left ( why dont u have any in your own kitchen ? ) anyway finally after i said it really needs a spray he said hed call then, came back with spray - still wiping with a dry cloth, I asked to spray the bench, had to again ask twice about having a wet cloth to wipe over, I wet a teatowel. In the end the freezer still had half of it in there, I used soap and a scrubber to get it out, not hard, the fridge still had the hair in it. I washed all the bowls, fry pan, and cutlery myself, sprayed the raoches with the provided spray. Also the blinds filthy and the wi dow full of dust mold spots and dead flies, which were wiped into the sink & i washed them down I was offered another room, but it didnt have a full kitchen which was what I was in and preferred, no discount was offered for a lesser room Yes he tried to help but as ive explained didnt help much I ended up leaving the room over an hour later after all of that missing the rest of the afternoon sun for the beach on my first day. He said the cleaners were new At least the bed was comfty and pillows even of the protector was stained bad, and smart tv. I have alot more photos but can only load 8 Good location near bus stops, and a 20min walk to the rockpool, 5mins to the cinema, 10mins to the belview pub and woolies and the shopping strip It has a lot of good reviews also but sadly not my room

Good-value motel accommodation, convenient to the centre of Tuncurry.

We had one night here. The bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Enough off street parking. Was a good price for one night. Room was a little worn in some areas and could have been cleaner in some parts of the room, but overall it worked for us for an overnight stopover and we slept well.

For a room that is a Studio Room it is not very big, double bed and a single bed, and the lounge is very, very uncomfortable, as you can see from the photo, not good for your back. The bathroom door has no track at the bottom, and it is very noisy to open. Photos of the room look better than it actually is, but I guess you get what you pay for, reasonable price.
