    From the moment I was greeted by the effusively friendly Scottish owner/manager, this was a great stay. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped with a practical and useable kitchen and a fairly comfortable sitting area. The inclusion of a coffee bag for use in the (provided) plunger was a nice touch, in addition to tea bags and a small glass bottle of real milk provided on arrival. The bed was super comfy, with good pillows (rare in a motel) and nice bedding; the shower was piping hot with good pressure; and the heating was excellent for colder nights. Nice to have a balcony with a view over the playing fields as well. At the price I paid, I would have been happy with a much more mediocre experience but this was genuinely excellent. Recommended.
